This module aims to provide students with the fundamental knowledge necessary to manage a successful wellness facility. Students will be given insights on sectors making up the spa set up, spa operations, and revenue management. Students will be able to identify issues and challenges faced within the industry, exposed to trends, current events, requirements and standards; with relevant understanding customised to the wellness operations.

This module covers the essentials of planning a spa business and will include exposure to the spa landscape both in Singapore and overseas, set up, spa concept, product planning and service menu design, benchmarking across cultures, marketing tools, budget, and inventory management. This module is also designed to provide knowledge of managing a successful spa facility. It will cover front and back office procedures, day-to-day operations, SOP’s and code of conduct, customer service excellence, legal compliance, and HR processes.
