No. YRSG does not fund courses that are not listed on the site. However, you may register your interest via this registration form.

Yes, you may. Balancing a full-time job and part-time studies may be challenging. We recommend discussing your plans with your Reintegration Officer (RO) before enrolling in a course.

We encourage you to consider signing up for courses early in your reintegration journey as it may aid in making the transition into the workforce smoother, while also equipping yourself with industry-relevant skills. However, we recognise that the initial months may be a period of adjustment, where other priorities may require your attention. You may still apply for courses at your own pace within your emplacement period when you are ready to take the next step.

You will receive updates via your RO or case manager (applicable to halfway house residents).

We encourage you to carefully consider your decision before withdrawing from a course after your registration has been confirmed, as it may affect your emplacement period and future training opportunities. Please notify your RO and trainer as soon as possible. A medical certificate would be required to attend make-up classes. Following that, YRSG will work with the trainer to help you catch up on any missed material to help you stay on track with the course curriculum.
